Getting married in nature
Côte-Nord intimate wedding or elopement
Say yes on the Côte-Nord, in a wild and untamed setting with deserted beaches, rocky capes, and perhaps even the chance to spot whales offshore.
If a big wedding isn’t your thing…
…why not do things differently?
Imagine an intimate, authentic day, just the two of you or surrounded by a few close friends and family, in a dream location in Côte-Nord.
Saying “I do” surrounded by nature, without pressure or fuss, just the pure joy of being together.
Why choose the Côte-Nord for your intimate wedding?
Love in the wild
Cliffs plunging into the river, beaches where you can walk without seeing a soul, rocky headlands where whales come within 100 meters… Here, nature sets the pace, and all you can do is dive right in with it.
This region is particularly close to our hearts. It inspires us, rejuvenates us, and reminds us how small we are in the face of its grandeur. Every time we set foot here, we rediscover that feeling of fulfillment that we love to share with couples who choose this corner of Quebec to celebrate their love. Imagine saying “I do” at the foot of a monolith with the river as wide as an ocean in the background and your laughter carried away on the wind.
The Côte-Nord is vast, and that is precisely what makes it so magical. Those who visit do so by choice, to enjoy a timeless experience connected to raw, authentic nature.

Looking for the perfect location for your intimate wedding on the Côte-Nord?
We know just the place for you.
For years, we have been planning and photographing intimate weddings and elopements on the Côte-Nord, and each time, it’s magical! Exchanging vows at the foot of monoliths and stealing kisses on windswept rocky capes. From Tadoussac to Kegaska, via Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles, every turn offers breathtaking scenery. This wild and expansive region is one of our favorites.
We have our “secret spots” that we share with our couples to create a magical and intimate atmosphere. Because a landscape can transform your “I do” into an unforgettable moment, here are some of our favorites for an intimate wedding on the Côte-Nord: places where nature and love meet.
Some locations may require a permit or authorization. No worries: we’ll guide you through the process and simplify everything so you can enjoy every moment to the fullest.
Our favorite locations for an intimate wedding or elopement on the Côte-Nord
And that’s just a glimpse!
Tadoussac
Located at the entrance to the Côte-Nord, Tadoussac is a place where mountains plunge into the river, creating a spectacular backdrop. A wedding on the Dunes of Tadoussac, facing the St. Lawrence Estuary, offers breathtaking views and an atmosphere that is both romantic and wild. To learn more about this exceptional destination, visit our page dedicated to Tadoussac.
Baie-Comeau & Sept-Îles
The Côte-Nord region is huge! The two main cities offer most of the services you could possibly need (florists, food, etc.). But they offer much more than that! They are close to some of our favorite secret spots in the region, in Franquelin near Baie-Comeau or in the beach area of Sept-Îles.
Mingan Archipelago
Exchanging vows in the heart of the Mingan Archipelago means uniting in a seemingly dreamlike landscape. Surrounded by monoliths sculpted by millennia of erosion and crashing waves, you can experience the full power and poetry of nature. Imagine holding your ceremony at sunset, with puffins flying overhead and the vastness of the sea before you. Not to mention the chance to spot whales on the crossing. It’s a magical yet wild place, and it’s Patrick’s favourite.
Natashquan
Forever the village of Gilles Vigneault, Natashquan is also home to the famous “Galets,” traditional fishermen’s huts from the last century. From Baie-Johan-Beetz onwards, the spruce trees become shorter and the taiga takes over. The heaths, with their spicy scent, turn bright red in the fall, and the burnt forest takes on a lunar dimension. And why not extend the adventure to Kegaska and the wreck of the Brion (the “end of the road” 138!) Here, the Gulf of St. Lawrence is an ocean… The perfect place to combine elopement and road trip in atypical, raw, and romantic landscapes.
Endless sandy beaches
It may come as a surprise, but the Côte-Nord is dotted with wild beaches stretching for miles, offering an intimate and breathtaking setting for a simple wedding. Whether in Portneuf-sur-Mer, Pointe-aux-Outardes, Sept-Îles, Longue-Pointe-de-Mingan, or Natashquan, you’ll find fine sand, wind-sculpted dunes, and golden light at the end of the day. Here, barefoot in the sand, with the horizon as your only witness, every moment becomes unforgettable.
