After speaking with them and listening carefully to their desires, Patrick & I suggested the Baie-Saint-Paul region in Charlevoix. We felt that an intimate wedding in the incredible landscapes of the Charlevoix mountains and access to the beach by the Saint Lawrence River was the perfect balance between simplicity and adventure—everything they dreamed of and more. The trail we proposed allowed for a clear view of the surrounding peaks after a short hike. And, with the proximity of the trail to the Saint Lawrence River, it also gave them the chance to have photos in very different environments.

A Wedding Ceremony at the Summit of a Mountain
On the big day, we met up in the Charlevoix backcountry. After a short hike, everyone donned their wedding attire at the summit. Absolute calm. Josée officiated the ceremony while Patrick captured the moment. Emotion, simplicity, raw beauty.
Free Exploration
After the ceremony, the family took the time to explore. The girls built an inukshuk while Anaïs & Sylvain enjoyed some quiet moments alone.
Wedding Picnic at Baie-Saint-Paul Beach
Anaïs & Sylvain had another request. They wanted to enjoy a wedding picnic featuring local Quebec delicacies. We took care of everything—from shopping at the market to providing the dishes and even decorations—we even surprised them!
It was adorable watching the girls discover apple cider and maple syrup pie!
Memorable Sunset
Once their delicious picnic was finished, Anaïs & Sylvain took a long walk along the beach. And because Mother Nature wanted to wow them one last time, she gave them a sky colored like cotton candy to end this beautiful day.
