It is often less expensive than a traditional wedding! The cost varies depending on the duration of the photo coverage, the options chosen, the location, and the presence of other vendors.

Of course! An elopement doesn’t have to be just the two of you. You can choose to invite your loved ones—family, friends—in small groups of 20 people or less to share this intimate and precious moment with you. It’s your day, your wishes, and we’ll help you create a celebration that brings together those who really matter to you.

Planning & legalities

Not at all. Whether you’re local or on the other side of the world, we’ll be with you every step of the way. You don’t need to know everything or plan everything in advance—that’s what we’re here for. You’ll see, it’s much simpler (and more enjoyable!) than you might think.

Yes, your wedding can be 100% official here, with all the legal formalities taken care of, whether you come from Quebec or elsewhere. Josée is a recognized wedding officiant in Quebec and takes care of all the administrative aspects. All you have to do is show up, say “I do”… and savor the moment.


And if you would prefer to be married by a loved one, we can also guide you through the steps required to apply to the Directeur de l’état civil du Québec to have them recognized as a one-day officiant.

We won’t lie to you: given the distances involved, it can be a little more complicated to obtain the services of certain types of vendors on the Côte-Nord. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible, far from it! Especially if you choose Sept-Îles or Baie-Comeau as your base for exploring. We’ll share our recommendations based on your needs… No endless lists here—we’ve already done the initial screening for you and confirmed their availability before presenting them to you.

Yes, you’ll easily find a cozy place to rest after a long day. There are charming chalets and inns, discreet bed and breakfasts, and even unusual accommodations such as glamping sites and tree houses. We can recommend our best places to stay, depending on your style and budget.

Not necessarily. We often plan days where everything is close by: ceremony venue, photos, meal, accommodation… And when we do need to travel a little, we make sure it’s smooth and enjoyable, without stress or traffic jams.

Contingencies & weather

Just breathe… we have a plan. In fact, we have several. Whether it’s light rain or a real storm, we always have a plan B (or even a plan C) ready, without compromising the atmosphere or the beauty of the moment. And if the forecast predicts really bad weather, our packages include a backup day, so you can enjoy your special day in the best possible conditions. And between us, rain can sometimes be quite poetic.
