Who is Love is Nord?
We’re Josée and Patrick, a couple of photographers specializing in intimate weddings and elopements in nature everywhere in Quebec.
For years, we’ve traveled throughout the province, helping couples celebrate their love away from the beaten path.
We love the salty scent of the St Lawrence River just as much as the fresh aroma of the boreal forest after the rain. What excites us? Capturing authentic moments, whether with our feet in the water or hair in the wind, bathed in the golden light of a sunset. Because for us, a wedding isn’t a staged event – it’s a raw, intimate, and sincere moment that reflects who you truly are.
I was a little ambivalent about the very intimate wedding we were planning, as part of me felt guilty about not involving our large circle of friends in our special day. In retrospect, I have absolutely no regrets because the most important thing for us on this day was the relaxed atmosphere and allowing us to take the time to celebrate what was most dear to us: our love and our families.
